Description |
Altova MapForce is a visual data mapping and Web services implementation tool. Supported formats include XML, databases, text/flat files, EDI, and Web services.
Using MapForce, you can convert between the any of the supported formats and view the results immediately, or you can generate stylesheets and/or program code for recurrent transformations. You can also create new Web services based on WSDL files and the supported data formats. And, because MapForce is a visual tool, you can accomplish all of this using simple drag-and-drop functionality – without writing any code.
You can map between XML, databases, flat files, EDI, and Web services in any combination, and multiple sources and multiple targets are supported. MapForce represents each content model as a graphical component with elements listed in a hierarchical tree view. You define mappings between content models visually by dragging connecting lines linking corresponding elements in the source(s) and target(s) and inserting data processing rules. You can choose functions from the extensive MapForce function library, import your own function libraries, and create and save complex functions using the unique visual function builder. |
